ERIThe Enhanced Dictionary of Occupational Titles
ERI's Enhanced Dictionary of Occupational Titles is now being compiled by ERI researchers. The Enhanced Edition is a combination of UN, Eurozone countries, UK, Canada, and U.S. job descriptions, with all positions containing the skill, training, and other attributes previously found in the U.S. DOT (last published in 1992). This new volume contains over 50,000 job titles and 15,000 prose descriptions, including "consensus position descriptions" found in over 2,000 salary surveys collected and analyzed by ERI staff. A July 2002 release date is scheduled for the CD-ROM edition, an October 2002 for the hardcopy edition. See the Position Concordance ("crosswalk") available from ERI's Platform Library for a listing of the positions covered, and refer to either the Salary Assessor software or Executive Compensation Assessor software for prose descriptions.
