Small Business Job Protection Act

The Small Business Job Protection Act (SBJPA) contains provision to simplify pension provisions. In addition, the law extends tax breaks for employer-provided educational assistance, increases the federal minimum wage, provides special rules on employee/independent contractor determinations, and allows employers to establish new qualified adoption assistance benefits for employees.
